Station Grove, Harrow
A
new four storey block of flats close to a railway line containing 24
one and two bedroom units. Both front and rear elevations are glass
clad and supported on intricate "expressed" steelwork. The design
presented unusual structural challenges as it was entirely suspended on
"sound-proofing" bearing assemblies which limit the effects of
structural-borne vibration and sound generated by the railway.
